My name is Sahil Surti, and I’m the owner and founder of Slammin Pizza. For the past six years, I’ve worked as a Dunkin’ district manager, overseeing multiple locations and learning firsthand what it takes to run restaurants successfully. That experience shaped how I think about food, operations, and people. I spent years observing customer expectations, training teams, maintaining standards, and understanding how much trust goes into serving food to a community. Those lessons are a big part of how Slammin Pizza operates today.


During that time, I always felt a pull to build something of my own—something more personal. As a Muslim, I understood how difficult it can be to find a place where you don’t have to ask questions about ingredients, sourcing, or preparation. I wanted to create a restaurant that was fully halal and genuinely Muslim-friendly, not just in name, but in practice. At Slammin Pizza, our food is halal because of the full process behind it: we source meat exclusively from Zabihah halal-certified suppliers, ensure it’s handled properly, and maintain standards in our kitchen that respect those guidelines from start to finish.


Slammin Pizza is the result of years of experience, careful observation, and a lot of intention. It represents my growth in the restaurant industry and my desire to give back to the community with something they can trust. This isn’t just a business to me—it’s something I take personally, and I’m committed to protecting the values it was built on while serving food people genuinely love.
